Research Interests

My research focuses on mesoscale and microscale wind forecasting and on atmospheric dispersion modeling. My work involves advanced modeling for forward and backward tracking of air pollutants in the atmosphere. This is governed by a measured or computed set of prevailing wind profiles and land features. The aim is to predict the atmospheric pollution pattern from known sources or to infer for the emission sources of an observed pollution pattern. A Bayesian framework is utilized while having observations from sensing networks, remote sensing techniques, and images.
